Dr. Gaurav Tyagi is a Civil Engineering educator, researcher, and sustainability enthusiast with extensive academic and international research experience in advanced construction materials and sustainable infrastructure. He currently serves as Associate Professor and Assistant Dean (PG Programs) at SR University, Warangal.
Dr. Tyagi completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from BITS Pilani, where his research focused on the reutilization of industrial waste materials in construction applications, including geo-polymers, sustainable concrete, and waste-substituted bricks. He has also worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh and Northwestern University, USA, conducting cutting-edge research in bacterial concrete, LC3 concrete, and sustainable cementitious materials.
With teaching experience across reputed institutions, Dr. Tyagi has taught subjects such as Structural Analysis, Sustainability and Ethical Innovation, Engineering Graphics with AutoCAD, Concrete Technology, Strength of Materials, Soil Mechanics, Disaster Management, and Remote Sensing & GIS.
He is the author of multiple SCI-indexed international research publications in leading journals including Construction and Building Materials, Journal of Hazardous Materials, and Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy. His work has received international recognition through awards, patents, and conference presentations in India, USA, China, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
